Performance improvement
A structured approach involving people
Improving performance cannot happen without staff and management buy-in. It also requires a methodical approach to break down and categorise improvement areas. It involves mapping the existing processes, identifying bottlenecks and cross-functional issues, and involving the team in solution building.
Next comes implementation; assuming you have the training and deployment capability, the top three issues are communication, communication and communication.
Then comes performance tracking. Dashboard, or balanced scorecards are simply reports that present relevant results in a consolidated manner.
